Renowned veteran film director and writer Humayun Ahmed announced that he will direct no more films in future though he will complete current venture “Ghetu Putra Komola”.
“Ghetu Putra Komola” will be his last movie as director; he shared his plans in a press conference organized at film’s muhurt at Channel I Office.
He says he is too impatient and intolerant that he can’t give more hits more moreover he has lost his interest into making films. “I cannot make a good film now only because of my intolerance,” he says.
Though there are chances he can return back like he says, “I might change my mind if someone, very close to me preferably my wife, compelled me to make films.”
His upcoming film ‘Ghetu Putra Komola’ deals with a groups of traditional ‘Ghetu Gaan’ performers. In this tradition teen boys dressed as girls to entertain higher class men through singing and dancing.
Film shooting will begin tomorrow in Haor areas of Habibganj district. Finance minister, Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, education secretary Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, and Impress Telefilm Limited director general Faridur Reza Sagar were also present in the ceremony.
