This 1980s film Bewafaai, is about a self-centred woman Asha (Tina Munim) who is in love with Ashok Nath (Rajesh Khanna) since childhood days. Since she is very possessive about Ashok she keeps a tab on all women who try to get close to him. Asha gets to the extent of beating up Vinny (Meenakshi Seshadri), Ashoks secretary. She comes across Renu (Padmini Kolhapure) who is also interested in Ashok but is mentally unsound. She comes to know that Ashok has been taking care of Renu for many days now and she too decides to help this woman. Will Ashok accept Asha or not is the remaining story.
