Biography:: Known as Bubbly among relatives and close friends Madhuri Dixit is an acclaimed Kathak dancer and wanted to be a micro-biologist. She attended micro-biology course in Parle College, Vile Parle, Mumbai but fate had something different in store for Dhak Dhak girl. Madhuri Dixit was approached by Rajshree Productions for their film Abodh. She debuted with Abodh and soon she became undisputed queen of the box office. Initially she did some flop until releasing of ‘Tejaab’ starring Anil Kapoor, Chunkey Pandey, Kiran Kumar and Anupam Kher. Tejaab revived her life in Bollywood hence Madhuri Dixit never stopped till her marriage to Dr. Sriram Madhav Nene in 1999. She made successful pair with Anil Kapoor and Salman Khan even she gave multiple hits with her onscreen couples. She did over 70 films in her one and half decade long acting career among which she was praised for Tejaab, Thanedar, Dil, Beta, Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, 100 Days, Khalnayak, Dil To Pagal Hai, Ram Lakhan, Kishan Kanhaiya, Raja, Mrityudand, Lajja and Devdas. In her whole acting career, Madhuri won over 11 major awards including Filmfare Awards.
