Biography:: Known as first Superstar of Indian cinema, Rajesh Khanna ruled the screen over one decade until coming of next superstar Amitabh Bachchan. He was an adopted child of his foster parents. He felt attraction towards acting during college years therefore he started to participate in acting competitions and plays. He won the Filmfare Talent Contest which led him to Hindi film industries. He debuted in Acting with ‘Aakhri Khat’ opposite Indrani Mukherjee since it went unnoticed. He first tasted success with Baharoan Ke Sapne while Rajesh Khanna got superstar status with his most hit film Shakti Samant’s Aradhana. This created Rajesh mania across the nations which run over ten years. During 60′s and 70′s he was the biggest star in Indian cinema whose produced most successful films during that period. His pairing with Mumtaaz, Asha Parekh and Sharmila Tagore was liked by peoples and he gave many hit films with these actresses. Rajesh Khanna married to Dimple Kapadia in 1972. In 1992 he joined politics to purse political ambitions and elected for MP.
