Biography:: Rishi Kapoor hails from the Kapoor family, first family of Bollywood. Rishi Kapoor studied in Campion School, Mumbai. He joined big screen as child artist with his father’s film ‘Mera Naam Joker’ but went unnoticed. In next movie ‘Bobby’ opposite Dimple Kapadia he stole the heart of that time youngsters and appear as new sensation of the time. Since then he appeared in dozens of film as romantic hero. He also paired with Amitabh Bachchan in many films like Coolie, Amar Akbar Anthony, etc. In 2004 he appeared in a different role on silver screen as character artist with Yash Raj Banner’s film ‘Hum Tum‘ followed by Fanaa, Namastey London, Housefull 2. He has directed a film ‘Aa Ab Laut Chalen’ starring Aishwarya Rai, Akshay Khanna, Kadar Khan, Paresh Rawal and Jaspal Bhatti. Rishi Kapoor is married to seventies famous actress Neetu Singh with whom he has two children Ranbir Kapoor (Bollywood actor) and Ridhima Kapoor (who is designer).
